Remember that FOX is catering for the masses. Baseball is a massive sport in the USA, so they have to give it more coverage.
I agree that it doesn't have international implications like the dolphin story though.
People in Britain will be more interested in F&M. I was merely commenting on the lead story on the International sites on the Interweb, not what domestic news providers are leading with. Though I doubt the dolphin even makes it into 'Other News' on Fox. FOX doesn't cater for the masses, it caters for the White House, it was a comment on FOX not on America. ;)
Perhaps this is a bad comparison, just checked the other major providers and none of them acknowledge the existance of other countries either - Maybe their websites are only for the domestics whichs seeems somewhat short sighted. Ah well, I am not one to delete posts so will just leave it! hehe

Quite balanced I always thought.
CNN: now that's balanced. Really though, it's a big story with Barry Bonds. It made the front page in most major daily newspapers. He's still playing in the MLB despite the fact he took steroids. It's still up in the air as to whether he'll actually get to keep the record. The guy he beat, Hank Aaron, is an American favorite. Last night Dave cried...

This is all very surreal. Of course it's news, I just wasn't sure it should have been the lead story on what is ostensibly an international news source.
This is the most comments I've generated in months and it was only a 30 second thought lol!
