School Dinners

Is pretty much what we get in the work canteen. Early 90s school dinners where the meat has been recovered from the bits that Mcdonalds won't use.

On the menu today? Turkey, stuffing and cranberry pasty.

Oh the humanity.

Of course if I had the sense to bring in my left overs from home, I wouldn't have this problem but as we've already discussed, I'm a moron. Greggs is is then!

You actually HAVE a work canteen. Stop complaining.

Aman was reading the FT Appointments pages opposite me on the Tube today, and I saw your company was recruiting for a director of some sorts. Getting busy round there, is it?

I don't know who Aman is. I meant to say "a man"...

Another one?! We already replaced our divisional Director, then merged 2 divsions and replaced that director, the CEO has retired and been replaced by a BT man, another exectuive director retired (from one of the old companies). Luckily it's only senior management - as we all know Mangement is nature's way of removing morons from the productive process.

And I say again - Turket, Stuffing and Cranberry pasty. We don't get his stuff for free you know? We still have to pay for it, with that in mind you are in a better position having access to lovely London food! lol!

Aldgate is right on the brink of the forgotten edge of the City - literally three steps from the office it's Tower Hamlets. Fortunately some nice eateries are open on the Minories: sandwich places, including Eat and Pret, Japanese and Indian canteens next door to each other (very good), sweet shops, even a Thai Square and Bar 38.
